Just when Plaxico Burress thought he was out of hot water, the DA doesn't see it that was as he believes that Burress deserves jail time.

Apparently Burress will have to testify in front of a grand jury in Manhattan on Wednesday that will determine the troubled wide receiver's fate.

All this started last year when Burress accidently shot himself in the thigh in a nightclub. Pretty ridiculous that this is drawing out this far. I agree that Burress needs to be and should be displined for what he has done, but testifying before a grand jury and making a big specticle out of it seems like it would only do more harm that good in my opinion.

If you are a major sports fan and if you are ready this you probably are then you know who ESPN journalist Erin Andrews is.

These days there are a lot very attractive women sports journalist and Erin Andrews is usually up there as the hottest of them all in men's magazines like Playboy, FHM and Maxim.

Recently a scandal has broken out about Erin Andrews appearing nude in what are being called "Peephole" pictures where someone was taking pictures of Andrews in her hotel while nude.

Apparently it is five minute video of her standing in front of mirror. As expected Andrews was furious and wants to file charges against the unknown photographer.

It is no secret now that Trevor Ariza is shopping around because the Los Angeles Lakers have offered him only the mid-level exception of $5.6 million.

After Ariza felt like he was slapped in the face from the Los Angeles Lakers he went out on a mission to get what he deserves. This may be an attempted just to force the Lakers to pay him what he is worth, but I wouldn't be surprised to see the Rockets or the Cleveland Cavaliers signing the defensive stopper.

The Portland Trailblazers, Toronto Raptors and Los Angeles Clippers also have an outside chance of getting Ariza, but I think if he is going anywhere besides Los Angeles it will be in Cleveland or Houston.

It has been an entertaining Stanley Cup playoffs with the NHL's premier team in the Pittsburgh Penguins being the first of two teams to make it to the Stanley Cup Finals.

Much like the NBA the NHL only really flurishes when the best players make it to marquee game and match ups and this season looks like it could do just that with players like Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin already waiting for their opponent in the Finals.

I believe no matter who the Pittsburgh may face, whether it be the Detroit Red Wings or the Chicago Blackhawks the Penguins will be the team to prevail and win the Stanley Cup Finals in convincing fashion.

I know they still have to get through a good Michigan State Spartans team before they even get to the National championship game, but I think it is a forgone conclusion.

I think they the North Carolina Tar Heels will beat the Villanova Wildcats and reach the title, but I don't think they can take down Jim Calhoun's Huskies with the way they are playing. Even if the Wildcats manage to pull off the upset over UNC, the Huskies are lock for the title.

So if you can still make the bet for the National champ right now, place that bet on the UConn Huskies and sit back and enjoy your winnings!

One of the most intriguing match ups in the Sweet 16 next will be Blake Griffin's Oklahoma Sooners going up against the Syracuse Orangemen.

On paper and in everyone's spreads and brackets the Sooners will be the team to advance to the Elite Eight, but with the way the Orangemen have been playing, especially point guard Jonnie Flynn, I am not so sure the Sooners can beat them.

I would advise that you stay away from betting on this game as is the only game in the Sweet 16 that I have doubts about. The Sooners might be a great team, but the Orangemen seem to be on a mission this time around.

I'm going with the underdog in this one.   Under  202    This game will depend on the defense on both sides.   The Hawks can't allow the Kings to score more than 85-90 pts in this contest, so due to the effort and energy used to accomplish this it might wear on the Hawks as well.  This should be a good game, but am taking the UNDER 202

As if the Tar Heels really need Ty Lawson for their ACC conference tournament because they have pretty much already have a number seed in the Big Dance, but if Lawson is going to come back having him getting back into the swing of things during the ACC tournament could be potentially huge for team chemistry.

I still believe North Carolina can win the ACC tournament and the Big Dance without Lawson in the lineup, but he will definitely make the Tar Heels an even stronger contender in the Big Dance.

Duke, Wake Forest and Florida State will be thanking their lucky stars if Lawson can make it back, but if he doesn't there will still be hope for ACC tourney glory for these three teams.

This is a game I like alot today.   ULL is struggling in the scoring field.  Only a little over 100 in the past two games. This game will be low scoring and probably not all that exciting, but New Orleans has the chance to win this game.   New Orleans could surprise alot of people.  Take  New Orleans +7

 There has been no conference in college basketball this season more talented or more competitive than the Big East. With teams like Louisville, Marquette, Pittsburgh and UConn leading the way the Big East conference has some of the best teams in the country that dominate the Top 25 rankings every week.

The Huskies won a major victory recently when they beat Rick Pitino's Louisville Cardinals. With that win UConn became the number one team in the country and in the Big East standings. 

Another team in the Big East that his right on the heels of Jim Calhoun's Huskies is Pittsburgh. 

Coming into their Big East battle with Pittsburgh the Huskies will be without Jerome Dyson which could end up being the deciding factor. 

No team has been better than UConn this season, but if any team can knock the Huskies off their pedastal as the top in the country and in the Big East it is the Pittsburgh Panthers.

It should be an all out battle that comes down to the wire!
