Betting college basketball can be one of the most fun experiences for any handicapper, but it’s also a very difficult sport to gauge. There are some things that will ultimately make it easier, so it is up to you to follow these rules if you want to be successful over the course of a long season.

Home Court Advantage
Nowhere in sports is a home advantage more valuable than in college basketball. It is your job to figure out which home courts are difficult and which ones are not. Duke, for example, has become known as one of the toughest places to place in the country. When you find one of these gems playing at home in a good spot, don’t hesitate to jump on it.

Tired Teams
One of the most underrated aspects of betting on college hoops is the condition of the team playing. Most people don’t understand the toll that going to class, flying around the country, and playing big time basketball can take on young people. If you see a team that has played a bunch of games in a short period of time, then consider playing against them. Though this is not always true, teams coming off of short rest, especially on the road, often lay an egg.
